Funeral Flowers

As the leading Ashbourne florist, we deliver flowers to all local funeral directors, including Wathalls, Jones, Slaters and Lees or direct to any of the local churches.  There is no charge for delivery or for appointments to discuss arrangements.

At a difficult time we will always make sure you receive our very best service and our most beautiful designs using British flowers and foliages.  We are able to design unique countryside pieces to pay tribute to special people in your lives.

We know that most people don't arrange many funeral flowers so we have made a few notes to help you along.

Most flowers are delivered direct to the funeral Director on the day of the funeral to travel with the cortege to the service.  We do this for you free of charge.

Sympathy flowers can be delivered direct to the bereaved at their home, usually a modest classic arrangement.

There are no particular flowers that should be included in a tribute - you can choose something that reflects the person or their favourites.

We love doing unusual arrangements, such as a wreath made entirely out of vegetables, so dont be afraid to ask.

Simple sheafs can be made the same day, otherwise a couple of days notice is required to ensure we can order your flowers.

"Family flowers only" usually means relatives either send their own tribute such as a wreath or share the cost of a larger arrangement.  We can collect smaller contributions from each person and make a larger design with each family member writing a special message to be placed on the flowers.

A coffin is usually dressed with a large spray on top and smaller pieces are arranged around the sides.

Wicker coffins are now popular and can be dressed with garlands around the sides.

Eco friendly arrangements can be made which fully bio-degrade for woodland burial sites.

We are happy to meet you to discuss your needs at our Ashbourne florist shop  or your home, and, talk on the phone at any time of day or night.
